Ozone in correct sizing is a very powerful odor neutralizer and kills bacteria effectively too. As such when used in application like kitchen exhaust or refuse room, it effectively neutralizes the smell and sterilizes the contaminated environment without using much electricity compared to air conditioning. However if over dosage becomes a smell by itself. Ozone should not be applied where there is occupants and the treated enclosure must be quickly ventilated before the entrance of any human. Below is an example of it’s application in a refuse room.
Where there is always occupants, the place must be well ventilated to prevent ozone from exceeding permissible levels, otherwise the non-toxic odor neutralizer should be used instead.
